Privacy Policy

Effective September 14, 2026  ·  Rhythm Taps LLC

This policy explains what happens to data when you use an app published by Rhythm Taps LLC, including Beat Streak. The short version: we don't ask you for a name, an email address, or an account, and your practice history stays on your device. Ads, purchases, and crash reporting involve third parties, and those are described below.

1. Who we are

Rhythm Taps LLC ("Rhythm Taps," "we," "us") publishes music-education apps and games. This policy covers those apps and this website. You can reach us at support@rhythmtaps.com.

2. Information we collect directly

None that identifies you. Our apps do not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, photos, contacts, location, or microphone access, and we do not collect them.

Gameplay data — your scores, streaks, progress, settings, and which items you've unlocked — is stored locally on your device. We cannot see it. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.

If you email us for support, we receive whatever you choose to put in that email, including your email address. We use it to answer you and nothing else.

3. Information collected by third parties in our apps

Some features rely on outside services that collect data on their own terms. These are the only three categories in our apps.

Advertising

Apps that display ads use third-party advertising networks. To serve and measure ads, these networks may collect device identifiers (such as Apple's Identifier for Advertisers), coarse location derived from your IP address, device and operating system details, and data about which ads you saw or interacted with. This data may be used to show you personalized ads.

On iOS, personalized advertising requires your permission. When the app first asks you to allow tracking, declining means advertising partners will not receive your Identifier for Advertisers, and you'll see non-personalized ads instead. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. You can also turn ads off entirely by making the one-time ad-removal purchase inside the app.

Purchases

All in-app purchases are processed by Apple. We never see or receive your payment card, billing address, or Apple Account credentials. We receive a record that a purchase was completed — which product, and an anonymous transaction identifier — so the app can unlock what you bought and restore it on your other devices. We may use a purchase-management service to handle this.

Crash reporting and analytics

We collect anonymous, aggregated information about how the apps are used and how they fail: which screens and levels are reached, session length, device model, operating system version, and crash logs including diagnostic details about what the app was doing when it stopped. This tells us which levels are too hard and which bugs are real. It is not tied to your name or to any account, because there isn't one.

Service providers we use

The specific third parties in our current apps are:

Each handles data under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to read them.

4. How we use information

We use the limited information described above to run and improve the apps: to deliver the features you asked for, to keep purchases working across your devices, to find and fix crashes, to understand which parts of a game are working, and to show ads in the free versions. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the advertising described in section 3, which you can decline.

5. Children

Our apps are rated for users 13 and older and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, email support@rhythmtaps.com and we will delete it.

Teachers and directors: if you plan to use our apps with students under 13, contact us before doing so. We'll work with you on an appropriate arrangement.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation — including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We honor these requests regardless of where you live. Use the same email address above.

7. Data retention

Gameplay data lives on your device for as long as the app is installed. Crash and analytics data is retained by our providers in aggregated form, typically for up to 14 months. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your issue and for a reasonable period afterward.

8. Security

Because we keep so little, there is little to lose. The data we do handle is transmitted over encrypted connections and held by established service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

Our service providers may process data on servers in the United States and elsewhere. Where required, they rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our apps change. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be noted in the app or on this page. Continuing to use our apps after a change means you accept the updated policy.
